The mission of The Crockett Foundation’s Annual Family Health and Community Festival is to promote health awareness, while responsibly impacting South Florida’s socio-economically challenged communities by providing financial contributions and other forms of necessary support.
Thanks to the generosity of statewide and national volunteers, highly knowledgeable and experienced health professionals and other integral agencies, Crockett Foundation is able to help save thousands of lives by providing free and low-cost health awareness and educational screenings. The Crockett Foundation is dedicated to achieving the greatest possible outcomes and receives its rewards through its efforts to save lives. The organizations slogan “Fit to Fight” seeks to promote healthier and more active lifestyles in all South Florida communities! By embracing a proactive strategic role, The Crockett Foundation through its Annual Family Health and Community Festival will aid in increasing health awareness while educating individuals throughout communities about the importance of sustaining healthy living.
Purpose: The Crockett Foundation is hosting the 2nd Annual Family Health & Community Awareness Festival event that focuses on health and wellness awareness in minority communities. The goal of this Festival is to educate the Broward County community about the importance of a healthy diet, exercising, visiting a doctor regularly for preventive check-ups and living a healthy lifestyle.
There will be health screenings, immunizations and education provided by health care professionals from Broward County Health Department, Holy Cross Medical Center, Broward Health and others.
